Core Subjects

There are several core subjects which form the basis of the LL.M. There are additional compulsory courses as well. The LL.M. Program is designed to allow students to choose from a wide range of specialized elective courses. This flexibility allows students to either diversify into several areas of IP law or to choose one particular area enabling them to gain a specialized LL.M. degree. In addition to the core modules, students are required to write a 15 pages long dissertation. The dissertation shall be supervised by one of the lecturers of the program.
The modules will be assessed by either written or oral examinations. Each examination follows a multi-stage testing system. Students must successfully complete all parts of the program in order to be awarded the LLM degree or certificate.

Guest lecturers

Our LL.M. program intends to guarantee the highest level of experience by inviting renowned scholars and professionals from Hungary and other countries as well. Guest lecturers will deliver either classroom lectures or specialized presentations within the frames of our „IP Nights” series (offered mainly in the spring semesters). These lectures and presentations help to deepen the practical and comparative knowledge of the students enrolled in our LL.M. Program.
